If so – DHL Supply Chain are looking for Operations / Driver Apprentices to start in September 2023.

DHL Supply Chain have partnered with ATU Sligo to offer a paid Two Year Transport Operations & Commercial Driving Apprenticeship Programme for eligible applicants.

Primary purpose of the role

The role of the Operations / Driver Apprenticeship is to carry out Warehouse tasks in our Retail Partners Warehouse as directed. This will be in between lecture times with ATU Sligo. Working hours will be 40 hours per week and candidates will receive full training, learning about a retail warehouse and a global Supply Chain company.
Candidates will work for DHL for 4 days per week and attend virtual learning with ATU Sligo 1 day per week Laptops will be provded and the successful candidate will work and attand virtual learning days on site in DHL locations in North County Dublin Candidates will be required to atend a mdical assessment for driving purposes

Role Requirements:

  • Commitment to a two-year program.
  • Balancing learning/studies with work responsibilities.
  • Must possess a full (clean) B license for enrolment.
  • Legally eligible to work in Ireland.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Meet medical requirements for driving.
  • Must have completed leaving certificate OR be over the age of 23 OR hold a QQI level 5 or 6 (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
