We were thrilled to witness the announcement of two exceptional winners representing the Irish Logistics industry among the 222 fantastic nominees for the Apprenticeship Ireland Generation Apprenticeship 2023 Apprentice of the Year Award held by the National Apprenticeship Office.
WWETB Apprenticeship Employer Roadshow
This morning, Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board’s Apprenticeship Employer Roadshow kicked off at SETU Arena Waterford, welcoming students from across the region to explore career and education options via apprenticeships. In addition to our participation, we are delighted to see so many industry employers, Transport Operations & Commercial Driving Apprenticeship and LAA – Logistics Associate Apprenticeship partners promoting career opportunities and apprenticeships in their businesses.

Careers Options Exhibition hosted by the IGC in Cork
A Career Options exhibition hosted by the IGC – Institute of Guidance Counsellors at Rochestown Park Hotel conference center in Cork over the past two days attracted large crowds and sparked a great interest in apprenticeships among secondary school students attending from Cork and surrounding counties.
1st year apprentices attend a Heavy Goods Vehicle Technology and Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness Testing Workshop
Our 1st year apprentices are down in Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) Athlone today as part of their Introduction to Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV) Technology and Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness Testing in the workshop. They will complete 3 days of workshops over the next few weeks. As part of this module, the students will be introduced to basic construction, function, and operating principles of the main components of a HGV and CVRT.
Masterlink Apprentice successfully passes CE Artic Test
We are delighted to announce that Alan Hajdrich of Masterlink successfully passed his CE Artic Licence test yesterday.
A special mention goes to all the team at Hynesquinn Driving School for preparing Alan for his test!

Xplore Your Future TY Skills Expo
The team at LAA – Logistics Associate Apprenticeship & Transport Operations & Commercial Driving Apprenticeship are delighted to be part of the Xplore Your Future TY Skills Expo hosted by Fingal County Council in partnership with Dublin City University and DRSF, from 9am to 4pm today.
This event is aimed at providing TY Students with the opportunity to explore their future career options, and we are excited to be here to showcase the exciting and diverse career opportunities in the logistics industry to this group of students, who will be transitioning from secondary school in the near future.
