Apprentice of the year awards – Winner!

We were thrilled to witness the announcement of two exceptional winners representing the Irish Logistics industry among the 222 fantastic nominees for the Apprenticeship Ireland Generation Apprenticeship 2023 Apprentice of the Year Award held by the National Apprenticeship Office.

Last night, at The Round Room at the Mansion House in Dublin, in the presence of their families, mentors, and representatives from their respective companies, the winners Transport Operations & Commercial Driving Apprenticeship apprentice Ronan Dunne from Polar Ice Ltd and LAA – Logistics Associate Apprenticeship apprentice Kelsey Mcgahan of Joe McGovern Transport and were presented with their trophies.

Please join us in congratulating Ronan and Kelsey on this phenomenal achievement and the recognition at the national level for their exceptional leadership skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities, and for being such amazing industry ambassadors.

Congratulations to the employers Polar Ice Ltd and the Mentor Denise Ryan, pictured with Ronan and Mentor Mary Mc Govern from Joe McGovern Transport, who collected Kelsey’s award on her behalf.

What an incredible event celebrating and displaying Irish talent across all industries, and demonstrating how apprenticeships shape and develop talent through the combination of workplace learning and education.
