Heroes Stage at WorldSkills
We are back in action at Worldskills Ireland in RDS this week, proudly representing and flying the flag for the logistics industry.
In recent days, thousands of 6th-year and TY students, accompanied by their career guidance teachers and parents, have walked through the door to explore career options and hear stories of apprenticeship success.
Also, we would like to thank all participants and employers who supported us this year and wish all competitors in the Logistics and Freight Forwarding competition the best of luck.
Meet our team at stand S42 for more information about apprenticeships in logistics and supply chain.
At the Hero’s stage of Worldskills Ireland Sorcha Halpin from DPD Ireland was an inspiration and we are so proud of her progress on the inaugural Transport Operations & Commercial Driving Apprenticeship programme. She is a great ambassador for the programme and her company. For more information on this apprenticeship visit www.cdap.ie or email info@cdap.ie
‘Skills Change Life’ was the theme of the discussion panel on Heroes Stage, which featured outstanding female representation from the industry. CDAP apprentice Sorcha Halpin from DPD Ireland discussed the wide variety of careers available to women in the sector and encouraged them to explore these options and get into it.
You’re amazing ambassadors for women in the industry, and thank you so much for sharing your inspirational stories.
