Are you interested in a career in commercial driving? If so, we want to hear from you! We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to complete a 2 year apprenticeship in commercial driving, whilst working as a general operative within Oxigen.

The successful candidate will be employed full time as a general operative in either of our depots in Dundalk, Dublin, Cavan or Offaly, whilst also participating in an apprenticeship with Sligo IT to become a qualified commercial driver. The apprenticeship is mostly online, however the successful candidate may be required to attend Sligo IT in person from time to time. Time off/allowances will be given to candidates for exam study etc.

After 1 year, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to progress from a general operative to a driver within the company, after obtaining their C licence within the apprenticeship.

ROLE OVERVIEW/ REQUIREMNETS

• Must be willing to undertake 2 year commitment
• Learning/studying alongside working
• Must have full B licence to enrol.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have completed leaving certificate OR be over the age of 23 OR hold a QQI level 5 or 6 (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
